Make every option distinguishable
State the action and its number clearly. Keep a menu short enough to remember without writing it down. Use the same structure for every option so listeners can predict what comes next.
Leave a deliberate gap
Insert a pause between menu options and listen to the whole sequence. Repeating a phone number slowly can help, but check how the voice reads individual digits before generating the final recording.
Match your phone system
Export WAV if your phone platform requires uncompressed audio, then check its exact sample-rate and codec requirements. The studio’s WAV output may need an additional conversion for a specific telephony system.
