Use the DOCX format

The importer supports modern .docx files, including paragraph text and tables. Older .doc files, password-protected files and macros are not supported. Save a plain DOCX copy before uploading.

Clean up the listening copy

Check headings, footnotes and table content after import. Replace visual references such as “see the diagram” with a brief spoken explanation if the listener will not have the document open.

Export in useful sections

Generate one section or chapter at a time. Use readable take names and download WAV for editing or MP3 for a compact review copy. Files can be up to 15 MB; very large extracted text is rejected to protect the service.

A STARTING POINT FOR YOUR SCRIPT
Bring your draft out of the document. Review the paragraphs, choose a clear voice and listen to your writing from a different perspective.

Import your Word document

Up to 15 MB. Review extracted text before synthesis. Longer text opens in the split-text helper.

Make a small test first

Choose a voice, generate a short take and listen before building a longer project. Scripts are processed by an online speech service; avoid material you should not share with an outside provider.
